Loading up the family truckster!

Last weekend we loaded up the family truckster and headed to see my parents, Granddaddy and Nana. We had a FANTABULOUS time seeing my parents, siblings, nieces, and brother-in-law!!!
The girls are so great together, you'd think they see each other all the time! Aren't they TOO adorable. I find it very hard to believe how quickly both of my nieces are growing up. It really seems like just yesterday they were both born...and now one's nearly eleven and the other is five. Wow time sure does fly! Talk about time flying, we will find out on Friday whether Squirt is a boy or a girl...yup, it's nearly pregnancy half time ladies and gentlemen. I can't wait to know! Will it be another pink princess or a blue prince?!?!
Here are a few more pictures of our weekend at Granddaddy's and Nana's...
(Uncle TJ, he's a pretty good looking guy if I do say so myself)
Nana thought Lil P needed some piggy tails in her hair, and I have to admit...they were too cute! Lil P kept them in for quite some time, but once she figured out that she could take them out there was no keeping them in. Look how cute!
Ugh...I could just EAT her UP!!!!!! Here Lil P helps Granddaddy mow the driveway before we load up in the car and head home...
Lil P also became a breakfast snob while at Nana's. Nana made eggs, toast, and sausage for breakfast and now she thinks that's the norm=) My little girl is just a good eater! Here are two pictures I took yesterday morning, just as proof (like you didn't know she loves eating before now).
Lil P is constantly saying "Cheese", "Up", "Eat", "Uh Oh" and "Juice". She's talking non-stop, and really displays passion and intent behind whatever she is saying. She totally get's it, but The Knight and I are still trying to figure it all out=) We are all doing really well. The Knight's been travelling alot lately for work, so Lil P and I have had tons of much enjoyed girl time with one another. Praise God I have a great little princess. I'm getting bigger and bigger by the minute it seems. Hey, I guess that comes with the title of "Momma to be".
Well I think that catches you up on the happenings in our house! I pray everything in good in your world and I will update next weekend to let you know whether we are having a princess or prince.
Love, Momma P

forever grateful

I'm lost for other words to describe how I feel tonight, so I stick with...forever grateful! I have an amazing husband who loves me for all that I am, even the not so pretty pieces...forever grateful. I have a precious little girl, who can make me smile when all I want to do is cry...forever grateful. I am 17 1/2 weeks pregnant with my second child, my second little miracle coming true...forever grateful. I have parents and siblings who have stuck with me through my highs and lows, and loved me unconditionally...forever grateful. I have nieces that are simply God's gift to the world, and I am blessed to call them mine...forever grateful. I have grandmothers, aunts, uncles, and cousins who have helped mold me into the person I am today...forever grateful. I have in-laws who have welcomed me into their family from day one and who have loved me like I've been their's the entire time...forever grateful. I have friends who are the wildest, craziest, loving, and most sincere people God could have ever given me...forever grateful. For everything else in my life that I have not mentioned...forever grateful.
As you might guess, life's been wonderful lately! I have a fantastic and ever challenging career that I love. I have a 1 1/2 year old that keeps me laughing non stop...she's just so freaking rotten! And I have a husband that's always there for me...I'm very blessed=)
So you might be asking "What's Lil P been up to these past few weeks?!"...well she's been pretty busy around here...
  • She has gone pee pee and poopie in the potty five times
  • She has thankfully been pacifier free for the past four days and counting
  • She's addicted to reading books...like non-stop, one after another
  • She says "Up" when she wants us to lift her into our lap to read her a book
  • She's been healthy for going on three weeks...which is a HUGE milestone in our house
  • She's eating almost everything, she even got to try scrambled eggs for the 1st time last weekend...and she loved them
  • She's facing forward in her car seat, and loves seeing things from a new prospective
I'm sure I've forgotten something, but as you can see...things are going well. We are heading to see my family this weekend, and I am SUPER EXCITED!!! I love going home to see them, it just feels so right!
Baby Squirt is doing fabulously! His/her heart rate was 150 when we went to see Dr G over a week ago, so the sex of the baby is still unknown. Lil P's heart rate was always between 160-180, but little girls can have slower heart rates too...so only time will tell. The Knight and I will go back to see Dr G in three weeks, and then we'll find out whether we are getting another princess or a prince this time.
Enjoy the new pictures...she's one crazy gal I tell ya!
Here's a picture of my rapidly expanding waistline...Squirt at 16 weeks!
Well Lil P is fast asleep, and Squirt and I are just about to turn in ourselves...pregnancy wears a gal out these days!!!
Love ya'll!
