So, so ROTTEN!

Our little lady is finally on the mend...Yippie!!! Lil P's been on antibiotics for the past week, and she's totally stopped coughing. She's been doing great in daycare, and sleeping wonderfully at night! She's even went pee pee in the potty three times this weekend, and she's poopied once. What a big girl?!
Today the weather was a bit warmer than usual so we decide to go outside and play a bit, while The Knight took down the Christmas lights. YES...our Christmas lights were still up, but I promise they haven't been turned on since the week after Christmas...promise! =)

Uncle Brad and Aunt Katy came by to watch football with us tonight, and Lil P loved walking Uncle Brad up and down the sidewalk.

Lil P is such a big helper these days! She helps unload groceries, move clothes from the washer to the dryer, and even waters our inside plants.

She even tries to water her daddy...

Here are a few more pictures of my rotten little girl...adorable, huh?!

What A Mess?!

Have I told you lately that I am a momma to a sweet little mess?! She is forever getting into something. Her unpredictability makes our lives so much fun! See take a look...she's a wild little mess=)

Here are a few pictures of my little stinker in her "Big Sis" tshirt, just before she went to school on Monday!

Things are still going great with the pregnancy...13 weeks today! So I'm beginning to think of baby names, here's what I have so far: Jackson, Noah, Sophie. What names do you have?!?! I'd love something that's not so popular, any ideas?

Details

Friday morning The Knight went with me for my 12 week appointment (that's when the ultrasound pictures were taken). We went to see ultrasound first, and then on to Dr. G. The ultrasound tech was a very sweet lady, and she was pretty funny too. Squirt was very, very low in my tummy...so a bit diffifult to find at first. Squirt's heartbeat was beating at nearly 180 beats per minute, and she was moving SO fast! Side Note: I'll likely refer to Squirt as a "she" since that's all I know and that's what I'm use to:) She was also a wiggle worm, moving constantly!!! At this point she's about the size of a peach, about 2.5-3 inches long. It's simply amazing to see this little baby moving so much. She was kicking her legs and even rubbed her face with her hands...simply adorable! What a miracle that is happening within me...it's so exciting! We met with Dr. G and got an A+ on the pregnancy, confirmed where I'd be delivering, then we were out to meet with the finance representative. You know, there always seems to be money involved. I was asked to sign alot of forms, and go ahead and preregister at the hospital on-line. During this meeting I was asked about having my tubes tied and after taking a very deep breath I said "yes". I am 100% confident that this is the right decision for us...two beautiful children will be more than enough to make us one big happy family...but the decision and the signature were still very intense! It's just a hard decision, no matter how sure you are. After we left the appointments we went to lunch and then both, and the same time, announced our excitement to the world of Facebook!!! What a techy world we live in=)
Another exciting thing has happened this week...Lil P has been moved up to an older classroom! She has adjusted very nicely, and is really doing well in the new class. She appears to be sleeping a bit longer during her school nap, and she must be playing harder because she comes home and is starving. She's just started saying "eat" and doing the baby sign language for "eat". Let me just tell you...that's a life saver! No longer do we have to guess what's wrong, she tells us. What a fantastic milestone this is!!! Tommorrow Lil P will announce to her daycare teachers that she's going to be a big sis by wearing an awesome shirt that says "I'm going to be..." on the front and "Big Sis" on the back...it's adorable! We'll try to capture pictures tomrrow of Lil P in her new shirt!
That's it for now, stay warm and have a great Sunday!

::Baby Makes Four::

Hey Everyone...I'm happy to announce Lil P is going to be a big sister and a FABULOUS big sister at that!!! We are all very excited (and a bit nervous) about our newest addition. Squirt will be joining our clan in July, just a few short weeks before Lil P turns two. Our house is guaranteed to be a wild and crazy place for several years to come, but hey...that's the joy of it all. Right?!
I actually found out I was pregnant when The Knight was in Atlanta for a business trip. I kept my lips tightly sealed and didn't tell anyone but my sister Jill, my girlfriend Nicole (she's due 9 days before me), and the director at Lil P's daycare...let's face it great daycares fill up FAST! So Lil P and I didn't tell daddy, and let's just say that was a very difficult secret to keep for four days! The Knight got home late Friday evening, and came home to find the kitchen full of pink and blue balloons. See, take a look!

Lil P was all decked out in her "Future Big Sister" shirt I made her!

When The Knight walked in the back door, he was a little confused about what was happening. He was wondering why I had the camera out and why there were balloons in the kitchen. I then said "Read her shirt" and this is the response we got!

After the three of us hugged and kissed each other The Knight was treated to two of his favorite things...Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cheesecake and Whiskey & Coke

And now without further ado...I'm honored to introduce Squirt!!!

Please join us in our excitement and in prayer for a healthy pregnancy and baby!
Much love, Momma P

A Fresh Start!

I keeping finding myself wondering what the heck happened to 2009!!! It feels like we just rang in 2009, and BAM it was time to ring in 2010. Let's just say I am blessed beyond belief...Beyond My Wildest Dreams!!!
The Knight, Lil P, and I had a fabulous Christmas! We spent the Christmas holiday in Missouri visiting the Knight's side of the family. There were tons of people, tons of food, and tons of love. We really had a great holiday. I do have to admit I missed my side of the family tremendously on Christmas day, but when you have in-laws like mine...you can never go wrong! Right after the Knight and I married we agreed on rotating holidays each year, and so far it's worked out perfectly. This year his side will get Thanksgiving and mine will get Christmas...and then we rotate. Sound fair? I think so!
Santa was so great to Lil P again this year. He brought her a doll house, a Mrs. Potato Head, and a pink school bus full of little girls. She received several beautiful outfits, adorable dolls, and crazy toys from all of our family. This child really is loved...really!

The Tuesday after Christmas we took Lil P in to get tubes put into her ears and have her adenoids removed. I must confess my anxiety was sky high that day! She was intubated, and that brought back a whole host of feelings and emotions...the flood gates were wide open! With a whole lot of prayers and the amazing work of the Pediatric ENT...Lil P made it through beautifully. Praise God! She was such a trooper (as usual) very little fussiness and no bleeding. Actually two hours after we got home she was playing hard with all her new Christmas toys! Praise God! Have a mentioned before that I am the proud momma to an AMAZINGLY strong little girl?! It's been almost a week since surgery and she's doing really well, and her breathing is normal...which is huge in my eyes! Let's continue to pray and maybe keep a finger or two crossed=)
Well that's all the time I have now, gotta run get things in order for work tomorrow! Much love for you all, and as always thanks for loving on my little lady!
