Momma's Little Man

Today I went to my 28 week appointment...and all is FANTASTIC! Squirt's heart rate was 135 bpm, which is just fine and I am measuring right on track. I'll go back in 4 weeks, and then we start appointments every 2 weeks...CRAZINESS!
Tomorrow we have a busy day scheduled. We'll have a 4D ultrasound in the morning, followed by furniture shopping for Lil P in the afternoon. We are then going to dinner with some great friends who are moving to Mississippi (adults only, only Squirt's allowed to join) and maybe, just maybe you'll get lucky and see a belly shot of Squirt and I before we go out.
Pictures of Squirt, and Lil P, to come later this weekend!

Down, but not out!

UPDATE:
Yesterday when I took Lil P to the MD he said her throat looked good, with limited redness and no pus spots...so that means no strep or sinus infection. YIPPIE! After about 2 1/2 hrs of trying, Lil P finally went to bed and slept really well all night. She's on her way right back to good health!!!

Hold on to your seats ladies and gents...I am blogging two days in a row, Whoot Whoot!!! So, in my last post I was boasting (as any proud momma would do) about how healthy Lil P has been for the past few months, well the good health stint may have just come to a halt:( Lil P had difficulty sleeping last night, coughing and a runny nose. Since she got up this morning...at 4am...she's had horrible breath. Not just morning breath, but breath that sticks with you all day. This might be a sign of a sinus infection or strep throat, so I'll be loading her up this afternoon to take a trip to the MD. She's never had either one, so let's hope this isn't something new to add to her medical "achievements".
Although Lil P is down a little bit...she's definitely not out!!! She's been a cleaning fool this morning, take a look.
After she "cleaned" the kitchen, she proceeded to empty dirt from the flower pot twice...crazy kid!!! Historically, Lil P never has trouble eating (she's like the rest of the family, she loves to eat), even when she's sick...she's eating. She's a HUGE fan of ketchup, take note in the last picture...she's licking it off her finger.
After lunch I put her down for a nap, and I'm happy to report she's been sleeping about 30 mins now (hopefully I didn't just jinx her much needed rest). I'll update later this afternoon/evening when we get back from the doctor.

Catching Up

Hey family and friends...I know, I know...it's been way too long since my last update! I keep telling myself, I'm going to do better this coming week, but life happens & I don't. We've been pretty busy lately. The Knight and I went to Las Vegas for four nights, and it was WONDERFUL! It was really nice to spend time with him, just him. Lil P got to spend time with her Aunt Jill, and let's just say...she was spoiled ROTTEN! They went somewhere every day, so all parties were worn out when the week was up.
Last weekend we made our annual trip to the Dogwood Azalea Festival in Charleston, MO and had a fabulous time! We got into town late Friday night and spent some great time with NaNa, Sansan, and Uncle Charlie (The Knight's grandmother, aunt, and uncle). Saturday morning we woke up early and were ready for a busy day of fun...parade, fair, catfish fry, and live music with a candle light home tour.
The princess hides in the azaleas!
Lil P spends some time outside (in her pjs) with her NaNa, Granny, and Paw.
Lil P and her Paw
Lil P with her great aunt Gincha (Between you and I, I think Gincha believes Lil P is the best thing since sliced bread...she's addicted to her!)
Here's Squirt and me waiting for the parade to pass by. The weather was absolutely perfect that day.
Watching the parade and hoping for more candy!
Gincha was full of energy and ready to go, but Lil P was sinking fast=)
Lil P is near the sugar coma stage.
It was great to be with family for three weekends in a row, but we are very excited to have a restful weekend at home. A weekend filled with playing around the house and being a silly family of three (soon to be four)...
Lil P is learning several new songs, her favorite one being the Itsy Bitsy Spider...
Here Lil P is getting psyched for "...washed the spider out"...her favorite part of the entire song!
