Catching Up

Hey family and friends...I know, I know...it's been way too long since my last update! I keep telling myself, I'm going to do better this coming week, but life happens & I don't. We've been pretty busy lately. The Knight and I went to Las Vegas for four nights, and it was WONDERFUL! It was really nice to spend time with him, just him. Lil P got to spend time with her Aunt Jill, and let's just say...she was spoiled ROTTEN! They went somewhere every day, so all parties were worn out when the week was up.
Last weekend we made our annual trip to the Dogwood Azalea Festival in Charleston, MO and had a fabulous time! We got into town late Friday night and spent some great time with NaNa, Sansan, and Uncle Charlie (The Knight's grandmother, aunt, and uncle). Saturday morning we woke up early and were ready for a busy day of fun...parade, fair, catfish fry, and live music with a candle light home tour.
The princess hides in the azaleas!
Lil P spends some time outside (in her pjs) with her NaNa, Granny, and Paw.
Lil P and her Paw
Lil P with her great aunt Gincha (Between you and I, I think Gincha believes Lil P is the best thing since sliced bread...she's addicted to her!)
Here's Squirt and me waiting for the parade to pass by. The weather was absolutely perfect that day.
Watching the parade and hoping for more candy!
Gincha was full of energy and ready to go, but Lil P was sinking fast=)
Lil P is near the sugar coma stage.
It was great to be with family for three weekends in a row, but we are very excited to have a restful weekend at home. A weekend filled with playing around the house and being a silly family of three (soon to be four)...
Lil P is learning several new songs, her favorite one being the Itsy Bitsy Spider...
Here Lil P is getting psyched for "...washed the spider out"...her favorite part of the entire song!
